  • Verkeerkunde.nl provides information on the province of Overijssel’s Peek Traffic project, which is aimed at providing every bus stop with a GPRS system connected to all busses. Solar panel-driven displays, provided by Surtronic, will depict up-to-date travel information to the customer. The first 70 displays have already been installed in August and September of this year, with the aim of extending this number of displays to a total of 500, which will be installed at those bus stops with the highest passenger rate. Moreover, the displays will be introduced as a potential execution of our newest ‘green’ product line during the InnoTrans 2010 exhibition from 21-24 September.
  • In Strukton’s latest newsletter you can find more information on the Project Zoetermeer, which was a coorporation with Surtronic to realize Dynamic Passenger Information Displays above platforms.

  • The council Zuid-Holland is modernizing the bus stops in the public transport sector. In addition to 400 new bus stops, 1600 Surtronic digital information displays will be placed. These displays provide up-to-date information regarding the departure of buses. Go to verkeerinbeeld.info to read more about this project.

  • Surtronic has placed an extraordinarily long ultra bright white LED display at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. This display is shown at moonenco.nl under the subject 'Voor wie wij werken' followed by 'Erasmus MC'.

  • Thanks to our D.V.A. (digital voice announcement) the blind and visually impaired will also receive up-to-date information at the bus stops in the Utrecht area. For further information about this subject, see verkeersnet.nl.
